About the Authors
For over 30 years, Jeff has worked as an engineer in various leadership and workshop training capacities within the aerospace industry. As Director of Engineering for a small aerospace manufacturer in Clearwater, Florida, Jeff led a team to integrate stove-piped business processes including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, purchasing, and shipping. Even though he had led various small teams before while working at Honeywell, this position was a wake-up call for Jeff and emphasized the need to develop Godly, leadership skills. "I had led small teams before, but this time I needed cooperation from those outside my team to be successful."
He has led engineering teams within Boeing and worked on projects for the International Space Station and The Space Shuttle Programs.
Jeff has been privileged to teach a 21-week course on leadership and teamwork to emerging leaders where he developed curriculum on communication and problem solving for use in that course. He has taught leadership topics to church groups, work groups, and conferences on teamwork. Jeff and Kim have served as deacons and elders at their church in Florida. Jeff is a private pilot and has served as an election judge.
Kim studied theater in college and began directing Christmas musicals as well as writing scripts and building sets. Kim served as the state director for Concerned Women for America where she organized and help to support prayer chapters throughout the state as well as initiating a nationwide prayer chain for all the CWA state leaders. Kim received her BFA from the University of Florida.
